چکیده
Abstract This work investigates the efficacy of a biodegradable natural product, litchi leaves powder (LLP) as filtration loss control agent in water-based drilling fluid formulations. In order to evaluate potential (LLP), strict protocol experimentations according API (American Petroleum Institute) standard has been followed. The experimental outcome showed that before hot rolling and after mud samples at 100 °C it was observed 3–5% Concentration LLP significantly increased rheological parameters such PV, YP gelation compared reference mud. Also, reformed characterization, suggesting better reducing agent. After for 18 h, with an additive marked reduction property Mud (RM). Experimental results concluded 5% concentration reduced by 70.6% under influence psi pressure. However, conventional CMC (LVG) maximum 67.5% Therefore, can be used alternative subsurface temperature °C.

Modification and Application of a Plant Gum as Eco-Friendly Drilling Fluid Additive
To enhance solubility and the performance of a plant gum (from south peach tree of China, SP gum) as a drilling fluid additive, we explored the potential of Modified SP (MSP) gum by modifying it with epichlorohydrin. The modification conditions, such as the mass ratio of the crosslinking agent, pH and temperature, were optimized and the results show that 56.40 g/100g mass ratio of the cros...
متن کاملStudy on Rheological Property Control Method of “Three High” Water Based Drilling Fluid
The rheological regulation of the “three high” (high temperature, high density and high salinity) water-based drilling fluid is a worldwide problem due to the combined influence of temperature, solid content and salinity. This paper investigates the factors and regulation methods about rheological property of “three high” water based drilling fluid, and the effects of clay, salinity and weighti...

متن کاملA new approach to enhance final surface quality in drilling operation: evaluation of using alumina micro-particle additives on oil-water emulsion cutting fluid
Reaming is a common finishing process for improving the drilled holes surface quality. Choosing an appropriate finishing method in drilling process has a significant effect on the surface quality of holes and in decreasing the process total cost and time. In this study, four similar holes were drilled on the AISI 4340 workpiece with different two pair feed rates. The drilling process was perfor...
